Group Fitness Class Descriptions
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & Mixed Martial Arts: This class covers all of the ranges needed for fighting and the training can be applied to either self-defense or competition fighting. There is sparring after class for people wanting to train further.
Group Power: Your hour of power! This 60-minute barbell program strengthens all your major muscles in an inspiring, motivating group environment with fantastic music and awesome instructors. With simple, athletic movements such as squats, lunges, presses and curls, Group Power is for all ages and fitness levels. Discover results, discover Group Power! Group Power website.
Karate: Traditional Okinawan GoJu Ryu Karate ("Hard/Soft system"). Taught in its original form. Beginners are welcome at any time.
Spinning: Forty-five minutes of group cycling with hills, runs, sprints, and steady tours. A great calorie burner for all levels. Spinning articles and research.
Strength Training 101: Straightforward and moderately paced hand weight exercise class to build lean muscle mass and create muscle endurance. All levels welcome.
Zumba Fitness: Come join the party for an hour of Latin and international dance rhythms and easy to follow dance moves. No dance experience required. Zumba website.
Zumba Gold: An innovative, fun and exciting program. It was designed for the active older adult, the true beginner, and/or people who are not used to exercising, or people who may be limited physically. The main difference between Zumba Gold and Zumba Basic is Zumba Gold is done at a lower intensity, not as fast, but it certainly is as fun. The same great Latin styles of music and dance are used. Zumba Toning: Takes Zumba to the next level by adding light-weight toning sticks or dumbells. Zumba Toning is fun, different, challenging, effective, and provides a new avenue to weighted activity. Zumba website.

Body-Mind Class Descriptions
Gentle Yoga: This class provides breathing and gentle stretching to calm both mind and body. All levels are welcome.
Flow Yoga: Continuous, energetic, and flowing movement. Gain strength and relaxation.
Pilates: For rock-hard abs and longer, leaner bodylines, Pilates is terrific for core strength, balance and strength without bulk.
Gentle Pilates: Moderately paced, easy-to-do exercise for core fitness and longer, leaner body lines. Excellent for beginners and those with limited abilities.
